Reunion Court project update – 28 July
A range of changes are happening on campus at the moment as we prepare for the Union Court Redevelopment project.
We ask for your patience during this time, and encourage you to keep up-to-date with what is happening by subscribing to the Union Court Revitalisation newsletter.
Our current focus is establishing a site fence and continuing works in the Arts Centre, Concessions Building and Manning Clare Centre. We will keep you updated as we progress, so you know the best ways to get around campus.
Getting around campus
University Avenue will remain open until further notice.
Chifley Library will remain open for the entire project.
Access to the Hanna Neumann Building is only available via Copland Courtyard.
Expected project works
Site fencing and hoarding will continue to go up around Union Court.
A new ramp to Chifley Library will be established.
Soft demolition will continue in the Arts Centre, Concessions Building and Manning Clarke Centre.
Water main works started on Kingsley Street near the Street Theatre will continue.
Isolated works will begin in the AD Hope Building to allow for new access to Chifley Library.
What level of noise and disruptions are expected?
Some noise and disruption is expected in and around the Manning Clarke Centre, Arts Centre, Concessions Building and Kingsley Street where water main works are currently occurring. Any works happening on site will occur between 7am and 5pm weekdays.
